The Inception of Wiggles and Spins
Wiggles and Spins is a small family run business. Our immediate family includes three dogs and a cat while our extended family of pet-kids is 11. Routinely, we have a pack of five dogs together while we are visiting with parents. We adore our dogs; take them to obedience training, agility training, and try to buy them all sorts of things. We began to get frustrated when shopping for shirts, jackets, costumes and the like. Items that were labeled "large" were only able to fit our smallest dog, Daisy, who is about 25 pounds. There is virtually nothing available for large dogs like Labradors, Golden Retrievers, Collies, or German Shepherds. We wanted to be able to purchase the wonderful plush beds, the sparkly collars, and cool clothes that seem so plentiful for very small dogs. Enter Wiggles and Spins. Pet parents can find something for their dog here whether the dog is a Yorkie or an Irish Wolfhound. Some of the large dog items you find here are handmade locally by people like your mother or sister (product description will indicate if an items is custom or handmade). Supporting our business helps hard working families make ends meet. Please take a look around and feel free to email us with any suggestions or special requests. What's with the name?
The name was inspired by two of our dogs, a mix named Lilly and a Sheltie named Daisy. When they are excited, Lilly wiggles her whole back half and Daisy will spin in circles. Keyser, our German Shepherd missed out on the name but he was happy when we told him he could be a model!
